Where

Ram’s Head Bats is one of the diversifying endeavours of Mitchell and Kylie Woods of "Glenella" Guyra NSW. Taught by Australia’s Ian Callen, Mitchell is the head bat maker. The timber is sourced from Willow Blue Australia in the Victorian Yarra Valley, one of the only plantations producing Australian grown English Cricket Bat Willow. In time our newly established plantation, a daughter of Willow Blue, will produce our own timber for the production of hand-crafted cricket bats.
Every bat is thoughtfully hand-crafted to the requirements and specifications of the recipient. Mitchell is a seasoned cricketer himself having played almost every season since his early teens. He is currently playing 1st Grade for the Guyra Cricket Club, as well as in the Over 50s in the Veterans Comp.

10% of all proceeds from bat sales go to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Fund and Garvin Institute for cancer research. With members of our family being touched by both, it’s our way of giving back, and one day finding a cure.
