Mastery Learning Group manufactures Mastery Learning Folders and Infomats (educational deskmats) for schools and parents. These are distributed through an online store, retailers and booklist providers. The Director, Nicola Carr-White, is a teacher with over 30 years of experience. She is currently finishing a research Masters degree in cognitive psychology learning strategies designed to ensure classroom learning moves from working memory to long-term memory. Her research informs the continuous improvement of the Mastery Learning Folder process. Mastery Learning Folders enable teachers to support learning by providing students with a tool and process that enables self-paced practise of classroom instruction.
Nicola provides free consulting services including professional development for schools/teachers, conference workshops and webinars on cognitive psychology learning strategies for teachers, parents and students of all ages. On-going implementation support and resources are provided to school clients. The Mastery Learning Group has developed a free online Flashcard Club which contains resources based on foundational learning in Australia for teachers and parents.
